THERAPY ACCESS FUND

Gold Ribbon

We believe therapy should be both exceptional and accessible, but for too many people, cost remains a barrier to care. The Therapy Access Fund exists to close that gap. Contributions to the fund directly support individuals, couples, families, and groups who are seeking meaningful, high-quality therapy but may not have the financial resources to access it at standard rates. Your gift helps subsidize therapy for community members navigating economic hardship, life transitions, systemic inequities, or moments when support is needed most. This fund allows us to say “yes” more often: to people who are ready to do the work, show up honestly, and invest in their healing, but who need flexibility and support to make therapy possible. It also allows our therapists to practice sustainably, without sacrificing the quality or depth of care. Every contribution makes an impact. Some gifts help cover a single session. Others help sustain ongoing care over weeks or months. All of them help ensure that therapy remains a space of dignity, choice, and possibility and not something reserved for only those with the fewest barriers. When you give to the Therapy Access Fund, you are investing in more than individual sessions: you are investing in healthier relationships, stronger families, and a more supported community.

We contract with licensed therapists at a discounted rate.
Therapists agree to provide care at a reduced rate that reflects a shared commitment to accessibility while still honoring the skill, training, and care required for quality therapy.

Donor contributions subsidize that discounted rate.
Funds donated to the Therapy Access Fund are applied directly to therapy sessions, lowering the cost clients are responsible for paying out of pocket.

Clients receive high-quality care at a significantly reduced cost.
This model reduces financial barriers without compromising the integrity of the work or the dignity of the client.

Therapy remains relational, sustainable, and respectful.
Care is not charity-based or transactional. Therapists are compensated fairly, clients are supported meaningfully, and donors create direct, tangible impact.

Underwriting a "Course of Therapy"

Donors also have the option to underwrite a "course of therapy," covering a client’s sessions over a defined period of time.

  • Donors may sponsor a "course of therapy" in 8-session increments

  • Contributions are calculated using a multiplier of the discounted rate

  • Underwriting may be applied to individual, couples, or family therapy

This option allows donors to create deep, sustained impact. Not just a single session, but a meaningful therapeutic arc that supports real change.

*there is not predetermined length for a "course of therapy." Individual client needs will vary, but eight weeks allows sufficient time for most clients to engage in meaningful work.

Session Costs Through the Therapy Access Fund
